1. Matalan Boots £18 2. Newlook £22 3. Red Herring £60 4. Asics Running shoes £60 5. Converse £45 6. Creepers £20 7. Primark £12 8. Primark £6 |
Number 1
is my perfect autumn shoe; they go with any outfit and are durable towards the
unpredictable English weather. At £18, I think they are an absolute steal for
the amount I use them and how versatile they are. OMG number two. Every night
out these wedges were there. The most comfortable going out shoe I’ve ever had
and they have served me well through every drunken mishap and casual family
meals - perfect for all of your fancy needs. (£24 well spent!) Number 3 are
really comfortable, easy to walk in and brighten up what would otherwise be a
casual outfit. Originally£60 but were reduced all the way to £18! Now that's a
price I could justify paying! Number 4, well I would recommend Asics to anyone
who is thinking of buying running shoes. With a guarantee of 2000 miles worth
of use (as my boyfriend tells me) you know they will last you a while. It’s
like walking on air. BEAUTIFUL! Well my converse, they just speak for
themselves. They have been around for years and there’s a reason everyone still
wears them. I own them in white and hi-Top white but the blue just gives a pop
of colour to any outfit. Number 6 is a flashback to the past that are becoming
more popular again now. Our mums use to wear them when they were our age, and
being a smaller lady they give me a little added height. They also grunge up
any look perfectly. The last two are flats from Primark. Great prices and have
lasted well so far. The tanned shoes are great for summer to wear with dresses,
shorts and jeans but are just as good in the winter with tights. The slipper
shoes are the same as Becky's, but I decided to buy some studs off eBay for
£1.75 and studded them myself. High street trends at a fraction of the price! (Tutorial
soon!) This is why I’m the GIY lady ;)

1. Bertie shoes £130 3. Primark £18 3. Head over heels by dune £49 4. River Island £60 5. Converse £45 6. Primark £8 7. Prmark Slipper shoes £6 8. Karrimor £40 |
These are
the shoes that have got me through every season and every occasion. I have a
large selection of heeled shoes, but for some reason these are the three I keep
on coming back to. I found the Bertie ones in a closing down charity shop in
Spittalfields. They had never been worn, and as luck would have it, just my
size. I picked them up for £25, went home and looked them up. Turns out they
were current season and were £130. Let’s say, that’s one purchase I've never
regretted. The black Primark heels are a wardrobe essential. They look great
with jeans and dresses and are plain yet sexy. The classic black guarantees they
will match with almost anything. The head over heels shoes are my latest
purchase. I’ve only worn them 3 times but every time I've been showered with
compliments. They just look so stylish and work as a more casual heel as they
look brilliant with jeans and a knit. Four are a pair of river island utility
boots I picked up in the sale for £20, but I don't know the original price. I
got them back in the winter of last year and they look great with leggings,
jeans and even shorts (if I'm going for that Miley Cyrus, sweet home Alabama
look). Number five is a good old pair of converse. These are 5 years old and my
only regret is buying them in purple. I wish I had got them in white, but the
splash of colour does me a favour when I throw them on with a boring tee and
jeans. Oh, my desert boots! I don't know why I didn't get them sooner! I got
them at the end of last month and I've lived in them ever since! They look
great with dresses, skirts, shorts, jeans, leggings, you name it! I just can’t
wear them in the rain (but the English weather doesn't seem to care!). Seven is
a pair of simple black flats in the more fashionable slipper shape. I purchased
them originally to stud them myself but never got around to doing it (however,
Christina did! tutorial soon) but I'm glad I didn't. Sometimes you need a plain
black pair of shoes, and this pair always works. Lastly are my good old
faithful Karrimor running shoes. Christina got me into a bit of a health kick.
These were in the sale costing me £25 and it’s another £25 shoe purchase I've
never looked back on. So comfortable, and the colour matches all of my workout
outfits. Perfect right!
What are
your favourite shoes that you keep on coming back to?
